Emily Anderson is a content strategist, author, blogger, and an ethical, mindful, sustainable living advocate. Emily spent her early career as marketing director for fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands, including Donna Karan New York, and Vanity Fair Magazine, where she worked with accounts including Land Rover, American Express, Telluride Film Festival.
Emily later joined Martha Stewart Living, working with global clients including Chrysler, Wyndham Resorts, Puerto Rico Tourism Board, Sub-Zero, Bernhardt Furniture.
In 2006, Emily left her corporate career and began blogging about sustainable style, ethical living, and how to have a mindful wedding. In 2007, Eco Chic Weddings (Hatherleigh Press/Random House) became the first book to bring high-style and tasteful design together with ethical, conscious consumerism. Emily went on to write several more books, all in the sustainable, ethical, social good lifestyle market.
Emily is also a certified yoga teacher (ISHTA Yoga, 500 hrs) and mindful living advocate whose most recent project is a coding program for kids that merges design, creating, making, social responsibility, and civic engagement.
